From meetings to networking, there are myriad benefits in an association that can help members’ careers take the next step. Carrillo thinks the most important benefit is the people. “These association events [like Build23] are such a capture on the entire scope of the industry that you really have an opportunity, if you put your hand out, you shake hands, you introduce yourself, to make your career skyrocket,” he says.
