ClarkDietrich is adding two new components to its E-Screen entangled-mesh rainscreen rolls, providing a complete exterior cladding moisture management system that is compliant with ASTM performance criteria.

The new components — Top Vent Track and Drip Flashing for Rainscreen — were developed as easy-to-use solutions for drainage and ventilation when used alongside ClarkDietrich’s E-Screen. The Top Vent Track provides a secure connection at the top of the wall for ventilation, while the Drip Flashing provides a secure connection at the bottom of the wall to facilitate proper drainage and ventilation.

Made of exterior-grade PVC, the patented designs of both components provide compliance with ASTM E2273 and E2925 for rainscreen drainage and ventilation. They are available in four standard colors of tan, brown, gray and black to coordinate with most cladding colors. The standard white PVC can also be painted, so contractors can match a specific cladding color if desired.

“We see these two components as matching those described in ASTM E2925 (Standard Specification for Manufactured Polymeric Drainage and Ventilation Materials Used to Provide a Rainscreen Function),” said Christopher Little, senior category manager at ClarkDietrich. “These two specifically designed accessories are custom-made to work with any entangled-mesh rainscreen in both 6-millimeter and 10-millimeter thicknesses.”
