In this episode of If Walls Could Talk, Jill Bloom interviews Travis Vap, CEO of South Valley Drywall, about the company’s outlook in 2025, their use of technology like 3D modeling and Dusty software to boost efficiency, and his insights on labor and immigration reform.
Vap speaks first about the pulse of South Valley and where it’s at in 2025. “We’re in a very good position to have a strong backlog,” he said. “But the second half of the year is uncertain. But long-term the prospects are very positive in our region of Colorado.”
On the subject of technologies and what South Valley utilizes, Vap explains how they use 3-D modeling on a complicated project right now. Also using the popular Dusty software, which have exhibited at BUILD Expo in the past. Just by using these types of software, they are saving 18 percent in labor, according to Vap.
