The North American Modern Building Alliance of the American Chemistry Council is excited to host its second annual Building Fire Safety Symposium on Sept. 24-25, 2025, at the Courtyard Philadelphia Downtown. This event will bring together architects, engineers, fire safety experts, building officials, and other key stakeholders to address the shared responsibility across the building value chain in advancing fire safety through design, materials, construction and building code enforcement.
The 2025 Symposium will focus on the five common principles of building fire safety: Prevention; Detection and Communication; Occupant Protection; Containment or Compartmentation; and Extinguishment. Through expert presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, participants will explore innovative solutions that enhance fire safety while supporting the evolving needs of modern buildings.
