Metal frames and gypsum drywalls or temporary and modular divisions?
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT WALLS ACCORDING TO OUR NEEDS?
One would be tempted to think that "a wall is a wall is a wall", but in reality each wall has a function of its own. In order to obtain the results we want during the construction or renovation of a property, commercial or residential, here are some concepts to study regarding the different types of wall structures.
LOAD-BEARING WALLS vs INTERIOR PARTITIONS

The purpose of a load-bearing wall is to support roofs, floors and ceilings. Thus, because their nature is essential to the support of a building, any construction or modification of a load-bearing wall should involve the intervention of an architect or a technical design office.

However, nothing prevents these types of walls from being covered with interesting colors and textures in order to create breathtaking decors, or even to grant them certain utilities (anti-fire, antimicrobial, anti-mold or other) in order to optimize them according to our own needs.

On another hand, interior partitions are non-loadbearing walls that separate spaces in a given area. At this level, the options are almost endless.

Either way, this is where Projex Construction comes into play.

By creating spatial divisions according to our needs, interior partitions offer great flexibility of layout, provide privacy, acoustic separation ( acoustic felt wall panels ), can demonstrate fireproof, insulating, soundproofing, anti-mold, antimicrobial or antibacterial properties.

Straight, rounded, textured walls? At Projex, our current and optimized interior partitions offer amazing design possibilities.

What can be done to turn your idea into reality?

Interior partitions can be permanent, steel stud framed and covered with traditional gypsum panels or temporary, to barricade, close and divide a transitional space.
